An ACI Airknife System will vary in size and complexity depending
on the characteristics of the product being dried. ACI manufactures
an extensive range of industrial radial blowers that ensures optimum
performance for any ACI Airknife installation. Systems are specified
with one or the following blower types:
EP10A Compact
Radial Bladed
Multi Stage
EP10A - Compact Blower
Designed to
be a robust and reliable belt driven unit, the ACI EP10A compact
blower range delivers flow rates of up to 2000M³/Hr (1200
cfm) and Presiones de hasta 250mBar (100 In.SWG). Compact, powerful
and relatively quiet, the ACI EP10 blowers are available in
a wide variety of voltages with motors from 5.5 through to
18.5kW in standard metric or NEMA frames and can be easily
retrofitted in place of US models.
The Radial Bladed blower configuration
is recommended where space is not a premium. It is a blower
type that is extremely reliable and robust, and is primarily
used for systems where the blower can be remotely sited. Duct
work, both flexible and rigid, as well as acoustic enclosures
for this range is readily available.
Multi Stage Units
The standard blower configurations used
for drying systems are the 10MS11,
7MS11
and 5MS11
models (the latter being fitted with an inverter.)
They are a modular type blower with backward bladed impellers
mounted directly onto the motor shaft giving low noise, efficient
duty and excellent reliability. These configurations of blower
are ideally suited to lower volume production applications,
or where a smaller area is being dried.
