Hot Air / Gas Blowers

These are typically single inlet centrifugal fans either in forward curved or radial design. They were originally designed for use on domestic gas boilers and therefore fall into two distinct categories:

• Fans for use on the hot exhaust side of the burner.

They are normally forward curved blowers with simple shaded pole AC motors.

• Fans used on the cold inlet side of the burner.

They are accurately speed controlled and normally used to pre-mix the gas and air. Either a DC or EC motor drives them.
