Based in the South West of England and with an office in Maine, USA, our proactive approach to creating market-driven designs and industrial applications is supported by a highly experienced and skilled team.

DIRECTORS
Chairman of The Board – Paul Tuffin
In May 1991 Paul Tuffin joined the ACI Technical Team to develop a new range of drying systems. Promoted to the ACI Board in 1993 as Technical Director he then held the position of Managing Director between 2001 and 2019. He is looking forward to the next phase of ACI’s history saying:

MANAGING DIRECTOR – ADRIAN NIELD
Adrian was appointed Managing Director on 1 July 2022, having joined the company two years previously as Head of Operations. Reflecting on his key achievements, Adrian listed his ability to bring people together to work collaboratively and deliver lasting value for the business, its customer and the wider community.

Applications Support Team
On hand to discuss your sales application at every step and to guide you through the full sales process, ACI’s hugely experienced and knowledgeable Application Engineers are your first port of call. Providing the very best product knowledge across a wide range of industries and applications, the team maintains excellent customer service and support for every customer.


Technical/Design Team
The Technical Team are available to support customers with any fan related or drying/de-dusting issues they may encounter as well as providing modifications to standard products to suit individual specifications.
With a dedicated Laboratory available to test samples of customers’ products, we are able to design the right solution every time, even creating bespoke designs, to solve our customers’ specific problems. We also offer outline drawings, assembly drawings and layouts along with 3D models of any of our products and systems.
Technical Software used by ACI: Autodesk Inventor (3D modelling, drawings, basic rendering & animation) Autodesk AutoCAD Mechanical (2D CAD work).
Product Assembly
Our Product Assembly team are well-equipped to assemble the full and diverse range of products from ACI’s varied portfolio.
This includes small fractional horsepower fans all the way up to large 110kW units, as well as the many Higher-Level Assemblies (HLA’s) that we now produce for customers.
A wide variety of component parts are also held in stock and our machine shop allows us to produce small batch quantities of these at short-notice.


Product Testing
ACI can offer full product testing at our Research and Development facility in Axminster, Devon. This area includes a working bottling/canning line, general conveyors for ‘component’ drying and an array of air flow systems for the testing of fans.

Customer Site Visits
To assist our UK mainland-based customers, ACI can offer a face-to-face site visit. Whether this is to acquire information regarding an air knife system installation (i.e. to fully understand the customer’s line speed, product/conveyor sizes, product proximity and the level of drying, cooling or cleaning required) or simply to discuss a new fan application, a member of the ACI team will be on hand to help develop a strong working relationship moving forward.
