The Problem<\/h4>\n

Faced with increasing demand \u2013 O\u2019Hanlon\u2019s Brewery needed to increase output. Production of the company\u2019s beers, ales and stouts was not the issue but getting the product out of the door was. The inhibiting factor was O\u2019Hanlon\u2019s bottling\/labeling operation. Condensation caused delays in the labeling because frequently filled bottles had to be left to dry before labels could be applied. This limited production to around 2,700 bottles per day. \u00a0Another issue arising from condensation and exacerbating time delays was double handling. Bottles once filled were sometimes removed from the filling\/labeling line and then reintroduced when dry to proceed through the labeling machine.<\/p>\n

The Solution<\/h4>\n

Labelling problems have been eliminated following the installation of\u00a0DRI-Line\u00a0\u2013 RM Remote Blower system consisting of a pair of ACI\u00a0Air Knives, and powered by a 7.5kW\u00a0EP10A Compact Blower.<\/p>\n

\u201cACI\u2019s Air Knives do exactly what they say \u2013 they dry the bottles! They are easy to install, easy to operate and simple to maintain, which is important for a small brewery like ours with supermarkets and international outlets as customers.\u201d<\/p>\n
