Money saved plus more efficient can and bottle drying for Türk Tuborg

The Problem

Türk Tuborg (part of the CBC Group – is a leading beer producer for Turkey, Israel, Romania and Albania). At their Izmir plant in Turkey, the company had been investigating how to improve their labeling processes. They had been using a combination of compressed air and heated tunnels but these were proving to be costly and inefficient to run and maintain.  Label slippage had been a major issue.

Line Requirements:

Throughput Speeds: 40,000cph
Can sizes: 33cl or 50cl

The Solution

ACI can and bottle drying units were supplied by the company’s Turkish distributor, Yük. Müh. Nihat Kagnici, Sanayi Müsavirligi ve Mümessilligi.  A combination of LNL and EL enclosures, Jetplates and Can Drying Tunnels were supplied.

The Outcome

“The ACI drying systems are working very well and the support has been excellent. What’s more, we are saving money. The compressed air systems and heating tunnel were much more expensive to run and maintain so we expect a rapid payback on our investment.” Arda Sengöz, Packaging Engineer, Türk Tuborg.
