Bottle/Can Drying Configurations
Applying ACI's drying technology enables filling companies to maximise the benefits offered by today's innovative labelling and packing technologies with no compromises. Whatever the line speed, ACI has the drying solution for you.
ACI's DRI-Line Series gives the customer a choice of 3 main configurations which are dependant on issues such as the customer budget, noise and spray containment requirements, and space availability on the production line.
‘LNL' (Low Noise Level) Drying System
- The ‘LNL' system, is ACI's premium drying solution whereby both the centrifugal blower and the air delivery device(s) are completely housed within a robust stainless steel enclosure
- This configuration protects the blower from spray contamination and attenuates noise levels well below 85 dB(A)
- A section of conveyor can also be offered, whereby ACI can pre-fit all air delivery devices (i.e. Airknives, JetPlates, Can Tunnels etc)
- Can be fitted with solid/windowed hinged or sliding door arrangements

‘EL' (Eye Level) Drying System
- ACI's ‘EL' system is a semi-enclosed unit where the blower is contained within a Stainless Steel Enclosure
- Additional protection to the blower is given by mounting the enclosure to a leg kit (1750mm high) that can be easily positioned either to the side or directly above the filling line
- An additional external filter is attached to the acoustic enclosure, ensuring that the blower is protected from any airborne contamination

‘RM' (Remote Blower) Drying System
- In its most basic format, the ACI's RM systems is a totally ‘open' unit meaning there that no acoustic or spray containment is supplied. Systems consist only of the blower (i.e. ACI's EP10A compact blower), ducting (i.e. solid or flexible ducting) and the method of air delivery (i.e. Airknives, JetPlates, Can Tunnels etc)
- It is worth noting that this system design must allow for the blower to be sited up to 10 metres but no closer than 3 metres away to avoid water spray entering the blower

‘DS' (DRI-Spot) Drying System
- Low cost, economic and effective 'troubleshooter' for drying specific areas or either bottles or cans travelling at relative low speeds
- Designed to offer customers a drying solution that eliminates specific problems such as under crown caps, necks ofwine or beer bottles
- Uses ACI's Multi Stage Blower Technology as a power source
- Can be used in conjunction with a simple nozzle arrangement or even with ACI's neck and cap drying units
